Connect your EHR to DetectRx, Haystack iS, and Dragon Copilot

Each platform uses your EHR differently. DetectRx reads medication activity. Haystack iS reads PHI access audit logs. Microsoft Dragon Copilot sends finished documentation back in. Choose your EHR for platform-by-platform detail.

Find your EHR

Each guide covers how DetectRx, Haystack iS, and Microsoft Dragon Copilot fit the workflows built around that EHR.

Hospital and health system EHRs

Inpatient and enterprise platforms, where ADC, pharmacy, and audit-log volume is highest.

Ambulatory and specialty EHRs

Practice and clinic platforms, where documentation time and record access are the daily pressure.

Post-acute and behavioral health EHRs

Long-term care, home health, and behavioral health platforms.

Three platforms, three data flows

How each platform works with your EHR

The integrations are independent. Each platform connects on its own, so you can start with one and add the others later.

Integration planning

What an integration conversation covers

Planning starts with the systems you already run and the people who will act on each platform's output.

  1. Step 1

    Inventory the source systems

List the EHR modules, dispensing cabinets, timekeeping, HR, and ancillary systems each platform needs. Haystack iS also takes any system that writes an audit file through its open-standard import spec.

  2. Step 2

Map who acts on each feed

Pharmacy owns diversion alerts. Privacy owns access events. Clinicians review and finalize notes in the EHR. Each feed is configured around the team that owns the follow-up.

  3. Step 3

    Hand off to implementation

iatricSystems implementation teams configure DetectRx and Haystack iS to your policies and escalation paths. Dragon Copilot rollouts include a dedicated Microsoft implementation team.

Integration questions

EHR integration FAQ

Our EHR is not listed here. Can these platforms still connect to it?

Usually, yes. Haystack iS supports 180+ vendors and an open-standard audit file import that covers virtually any system that generates an audit file. If a system is not yet supported, iatricSystems builds the integration with you. Microsoft Dragon Copilot integrates with 200+ EHR systems. Tell us your EHR and version and we will confirm the path.

Which integration standards do the platforms use?

DetectRx integrates via HL7, FHIR, REST APIs, and SMART on FHIR. Haystack iS ingests EHR audit logs alongside PACS, lab, HR, pharmacy, and document management audit data. Dragon Copilot transfers documentation into the EHR by direct integration and voice commands such as "transfer all", with support for Smart phrases, Dot phrases, and templates.

Does DetectRx only use EHR data?

No. DetectRx correlates EHR medication activity with automated dispensing cabinet and timekeeping data. A nurse dispensing off-shift, or waste totals that never reconcile, only become visible when all three sources are read together.

Can we integrate one platform first and add others later?

Yes. Each platform stands alone and integrates independently with your systems. Many organizations start with the most urgent gap, then expand. A consultation can map the right sequence for your priorities.
